The Color Purple is wonderful...I read it for AP English in high school (which was, um, a little while ago) and it's definitely one I need to read again!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you liked it Gabby. I'm really looking forward to reading that book. Its been on my shelf for a while now.
DeleteThank you for visiting!
I liked the Little House books when I was a kid, something about the frontier and starting fresh out there appealed to me. I don't think I read them all though- I bet it would be interesting to revisit.
ReplyDeleteI read them as a kid as well, but I don't think I gave them the appreciation they deserved. It was nice to revisit the first book last year and I look forward to continuing on with the series.
DeleteThanks for stopping by Greg!
I really enjoyed The Lake House ... and I've got The Gift of Friendship on my radar! My TTT
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read The Lake House. I haven't been disappointed by a Kate Morton book yet. Thank you for stopping by Carrie.
