Top 10 Tuesday: My Fall TBR

Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Fall is one of my favourite seasons. We say goodbye to the sticky hot days of summer and welcome the crisp air and the beautiful changing colours around us. And of course, it is also a perfect time to cozy up and read some great books. (Not that you can’t do that in any other season, but you know what I mean.)

When I read the topic for this weeks Top 10 Tuesday, I decided to go back and check out the post I made for my Summer TBR. It made me sad to see that I had only read 3 out of the 10 books I mentioned. Now I thought I was doing well with my reading progress, so I decided to compare my summer TBR post with my Goodreads Shelf “Read in 2015”.  I gave a sigh of relief when I counted that I have read 15 books since my post on June 16. I should also note that 5 of those books were ARC’s and therefore not included on my original post.

Keeping that in mind I know that this fall TBR will be a bit ambitious as well, but who knows maybe I will surprise myself..

Here is my Fall 2015 TBR List:

Physical books I didn't get to over the summer:

1. Sizzling Sixteen by Janet Evanovich
2. Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood by Rebecca Wells

Kobo eBooks I didn't get to over the summer:

3. Call the Midwife: Shadows of the Workhouse (The Midwife Trilogy #1) by Jennifer Worth
4. Sarah's Key by Tatiana De Rosnay

Kindle for PC:

5. For all Time by Parris Afton Bonds
6. Submerged (Alaskan Courage #1) by Dani Pettrey

  1. I read Sarah's Key last year and absolutely loved it. I read it in French but the book should be as amazing in English. I hope you get through a lot of amazing books this Fall. We don't actually have Fall here and it sucks cause while summer is starting here, I actually prefer colder months. Anyway, happy reading in Fall :)

    1. I'm looking forward to reading Sarah's Key. It has been on my Kobo for a while now.
I guess it doesn't get very cold in your country eh? I prefer the colder moths as well. I can't wait for the first snow.
Happy summer reading to you. :)

  2. I read the YA YA SISTERHOOD a looonggg time ago, but I remember enjoying it. SARAH'S KEY is fascinating, just super sad. I hope you get to all these books.

    Happy TTT!

    1. The Ya-Ya Sisterhood is a re-read for me. I too read it a long time ago, but I don't think I appreciated it enough the first time around. Perhaps because I was too young at the time.
I didn't realize Sarah's Key was going to be so sad. To be honest its been a long time since I read the synopsis so I can't really remember what it is about. I will have to remember not to read it in public, as I'm sure it will make me cry.
Thank you for stopping by Susan.

  5. Looks like some great fall reading. I've heard of many of these, but haven't read them yet. My TBR list is probably as bad as yours.

Thanks for visiting The Book Connection.
