Sunday Wrap-up: February 7 2016

Happy February everyone! My month got off to a good start. I had a very productive week and checked off more on my to-do list than I normally do in a week. I went to bed at a decent time most nights and I woke up at a reasonable time in the morning as well. I really really hope that I am able to stick with this routine and not get discouraged and set off course, as I'm prone to do.

Friday night we (my man and I) had our first date night in a while. We went out for a yummy dinner and did some shopping. Then came home and watched one of our favourite shows; Murdoch Mysteries.

Then tonight, we went to my brothers house for a competitive game of Risk. Its not my favourite board game in the world, but we did have a good time and I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Reading Progress

So I wrote my monthly wrap-up on Saturday (the 30th) and included a book that I thought for sure I would have completed by the 1st. Unfortunately I didn't get it done until today so my total books read for the month of January is actually 7, not 8 as I mentioned.

Books Completed
Review to come.

Thursday: Book Review: The Day the World Came to Town: 9/11 in Gander Newfoundland by Jim Defede

Note: Unfortunately that is all I have scheduled for this week, at this time. However that is subject to change.

I'm really enjoying this book and hope to have it finished within the next couple of days.

  1. Ah, Risk. I remember that game. It wasn't bad . I've seen some movie/ book tie- in editions that I bet are interesting... but haven't played in years.

Happy reading, and hope you have a good week.

  3. Uh I have never even heard of Risk before XD I do enjoy board games though. They aren't super popular in my family but my sister and I have been inventing our own since we were kids and we still play those together like the grown-up kids that we are :D Also, I love your idea to do Sunday wrap-ups! Looking forward to the next ones :)

    1. Inventing your own board games, what a great idea. I wish I had thought of that as a kid, ha.
