Happy February everyone! My month got off to a good start. I had a very productive week and checked off more on my to-do list than I normally do in a week. I went to bed at a decent time most nights and I woke up at a reasonable time in the morning as well. I really really hope that I am able to stick with this routine and not get discouraged and set off course, as I'm prone to do.
Friday night we (my man and I) had our first date night in a while. We went out for a yummy dinner and did some shopping. Then came home and watched one of our favourite shows; Murdoch Mysteries.
Then tonight, we went to my brothers house for a competitive game of Risk. Its not my favourite board game in the world, but we did have a good time and I think I'm getting the hang of it.
Reading ProgressSo I wrote my monthly wrap-up on Saturday (the 30th) and included a book that I thought for sure I would have completed by the 1st. Unfortunately I didn't get it done until today so my total books read for the month of January is actually 7, not 8 as I mentioned.
|Review to come.|
Monday: Monthly Wrap-up: January 2016
Thursday: Book Review: The Day the World Came to Town: 9/11 in Gander Newfoundland by Jim Defede
Note: Unfortunately that is all I have scheduled for this week, at this time. However that is subject to change.
I'm really enjoying this book and hope to have it finished within the next couple of days.
