Welcome to the first weekend of June! I don't have a whole lot to share with you in terms of offline ramblings other than this one picture:
SO yummy! Moving on..
My Reading Progress
Despite being somewhat busy this week, I made great progress with my reading.
Books Completed
My partner and I continued on to the second Percy Jackson book in audio format. We both enjoyed it, although I wasn't as wrapped up in the story as I was when listening to the first book. I gave it a 3-3.5 rating.
I plowed through this chunker of a book. I just couldn't put it down. I gave it a 4/5 rating and I'm looking forward to reading the second book in the Robert Langdon series.

Oh that picture looks decadent and my mouth waters immediately. I'd like to read the Jenny Colgan book so will be keeping an eye out for it.
ReplyDeleteThat was my reaction when I saw it listed on the menu at the ice cream shop, lol.
DeleteIs that mint chocolate chip ice cream? Looks yummy... :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Bookshop on the Corner looks great too. I love covers like that with bookstore windows or books on them. :)
Yes sir. My favourite kind of ice cream. :)
DeleteI like the cover for that book as well.
I love Rick Riordan! Made it halfway through book 4 before I got distracted with something else and haven't gone back to it because it's been too long and I would have to re-read. But it's definitely at the top of my list of things to do. His books are great :)

I hope you enjoy the rest of book 4. Thanks for stopping by Megan.

ReplyDeleteThank you Heather. I enjoyed it too.
DeleteMary Higgins Clark was my go to author before finding blogging and now there are way to many books and authors. I really want to catch up though, I may be 2-3 behind on her newest.
ReplyDeleteShe sure does have a huge amount of books published. I've read a scatter few of her books and have enjoyed everything I've tried so far. Its been a while since I picked up a book of hers so its nice to be reading The Melody Lingers On. Hope you are able to catch up with her newer releases. :)
DeleteWow...oh, wow....that ice cream sandwich is what dessert dreams are made of! Hello from a fellow Canadian, though from the West Coast. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha best description I've heard yet. Thank you for that. It was so yummy. Its nice to see another Canadian blogger. I will check out your blog now. :)
